Policies & Procedures
Applies to all mobile chair massage services — Workplace Edition & Home Edition
Late Cancellations

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your scheduled mobile appointment are considered late and are non-refundable.

Please communicate any changes as early as possible.
Client Not Available Upon Arrival
-
If the client is not available upon arrival at the scheduled start time, the appointment will be canceled immediately and no refund will be issued.

Due to the short nature of these sessions and the need to stay on schedule, appointments cannot be extended.
Setup Time
-
I will arrive approximately 5 minutes early to prepare for your scheduled appointment.
-
Please ensure the space is clean, safe, and ready for setup to allow for an on-time start.
Guests & Eligibility

Only the individual listed at the time of booking may receive services.
-
No additional guests may be added on-site.
-
All clients must be vetted and approved in advance.
Clothing Policy
All Massage is Life On-the-Go services are performed fully clothed.
Please wear comfortable, loose-fitting attire such as a t-shirt and leggings, sweatpants, or other non-restrictive clothing to allow for ease of movement and optimal comfort during your chair massage.
🚫 Please avoid wearing:

Hoodies or bulky sweatshirts

Button-down shirts with stiff collars

Dresses or skirts

Tight or restrictive clothing
🔄 Before your session, please:

Remove necklaces, large earrings, lanyards, or ID badges
-
Pull long hair up and away from your neck to ensure full access to your neck and shoulders
Pets (Home Edition Only)

All pets must be secured in another room during the session.

If a pet is loose in the service area, or if the space is unsafe due to animals, the appointment will be canceled without refund.
Inclement Weather
Weather can vary significantly by area and is taken seriously for everyone’s safety.

If I determine travel is unsafe, the appointment will be rescheduled at a later date.
-
If you cancel due to weather, the appointment is still non-refundable, but it may be rescheduled.
-
Workplace sessions impacted by weather-related closures or building access issues will also follow the reschedule policy.

All weather-related decisions are made with the safety of both the client and therapist as the top priority.

🌤️ Weather permitting, mobile services can also be performed outdoors if a clean, safe, and shaded space is provided.

Sick Policy – On-the-Go Services
For the health and safety of both the therapist and clients, please do not book or keep a scheduled appointment if you are feeling unwell or experiencing symptoms of illness. This includes, but is not limited to:

Fever

Cough
-
Sore throat
-
Runny nose
-
Nausea or vomiting
-
Diarrhea
-
Known exposure to contagious illness
If you or anyone in the home or workplace is sick at the time of your appointment, services will not be provided, and the session will be canceled on-site without refund.
Please cancel or reschedule your appointment as early as possible if you or anyone at the service location becomes ill prior to your session.
This policy also applies to households or workplaces where multiple individuals are sick, even if the client receiving services is not symptomatic.
My health and safety are a top priority so I can continue showing up for all of my clients and maintain my livelihood. Illnesses not only affect my ability to work, but can also lead to canceled appointments for others.
Your honesty and consideration help keep this service running smoothly and safely for everyone.
Changing Service Location
Once booked, appointments are reserved with specific timing and distance between clients.

If you need to change the service location, it must be requested in advance and approved

If the new location is outside the service area or disrupts travel scheduling, the appointment may be declined or rescheduled

Same-day location changes are not permitted
Please ensure the address entered during booking is correct.
Access, Walkways & Entry

All driveways, walkways, stairs, and entry points must be clear of snow, ice, clutter, or any hazards before arrival.

If safe access is not provided, the session will be canceled on-site and no refund will be issued.
Parking
-
Safe and accessible parking must be available at or near the location.
-
If paid parking is required, the client is responsible for that cost.
-
Please inform me in advance of any special parking instructions.
Payment Policy

Full payment is due at the time of booking

Gift certificates and account credits cannot be used for On-the-Go services

No additional clients may be added day-of; all services must be pre-approved
Professional Behavior
This is a professional therapeutic service. Any inappropriate language, behavior, or misconduct will result in the immediate termination of the session without refund and permanent removal from the booking system.
Refund Policy

All mobile services are non-refundable once booked.
-
This includes cancellations, no-shows, early terminations due to unsafe or unapproved conditions, or any policy violations.
Non-Transferable

Appointments are non-transferable. Only the individual(s) listed at booking may receive services.
Safety & Vetting Policy

Unfortunately, in today’s world, you have to be extra safe and cautious—which is why I don’t allow just anyone to book an On-the-Go service right away.

Entering someone’s home or private space can be uncomfortable and vulnerable, so it’s important to be as careful and intentional as possible when accepting mobile bookings.

To help protect both myself and my clients, all mobile appointments require vetting and approval before booking access is granted. This ensures that services are provided in safe, appropriate settings and helps maintain the integrity of the experience.

The Noterro booking system I use also has built-in safety measures to help screen, track, and manage appointments securely behind the scenes.

This process isn’t meant to be a barrier—it’s in place to prioritize safety, professionalism, and peace of mind for everyone involved.
Current Massage is Life Clients

If you are a current in-office client who has seen me on multiple occasions, you do not need to go through the standard vetting process for On-the-Go services.
-
As long as your location is within the service area, you can be added to the approved mobile client list by emailing me at angelajessie@massageislifellc.com.

Once added, you’ll be able to view and book eligible On-the-Go appointments when logged into your Noterro account.
