Cancellation Policy

Booking Policy – Please Review Before Scheduling By booking an appointment with Massage Is Life, you acknowledge that you have reviewed, understand, and agree to the full policies available on the Policies & Procedures page of the website. Payment: Appointments may require a non-refundable deposit, applicable copay, legacy package redemption, or gift certificate redemption at booking. Deposits are applied toward the remaining appointment balance. Rescheduling: Appointments may be rescheduled one time with at least 24 hours’ notice and the original deposit will transfer. A second reschedule forfeits the original deposit and requires a new deposit. Rescheduling within 24 hours also forfeits the deposit and requires a new deposit. Cancellations: Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the appointment forfeit the non-refundable deposit. Cancellations within 24 hours are subject to 50% of the base service cost, less the deposit already paid. Add-ons are not included in this fee. Outstanding fees must be paid before booking again. No-Shows: You are considered a no-show if you have not arrived or made contact within 15 minutes of your appointment time. The deposit will be forfeited and the remaining base-service balance will be invoiced. Package appointments will forfeit the session. No-show invoices cannot be paid with gift cards. 2-Hour & 3-Hour Sessions: These appointments require 48 hours’ notice for cancellation or rescheduling due to the amount of time reserved. Changes within 48 hours are considered late and the same applicable cancellation, rescheduling, and no-show fees apply. Please do not attend your appointment if you are sick or contagious. Weather-related concerns will be handled with reasonable flexibility based on conditions in your area. Massage Is Life reserves the right to refuse, modify, postpone, or discontinue service for health or safety concerns, required medical clearance, cleanliness/hygiene concerns, strong or disruptive odors, inappropriate or sexual behavior/comments, harassment, or other conduct that compromises professional boundaries.
