How It Will Work

Massage for a Cause will bring licensed massage therapists and massage businesses together for fundraising events benefiting Jordyn’s Light.

​

Participating therapists will be asked to volunteer approximately three to four hours of their time to provide short, fully clothed table or chair massage services to event guests. Proceeds collected from massage services will be donated to Jordyn’s Light, while therapists may keep any gratuities they receive.

​

Therapists will be able to set up and personalize their stations, display information about their services, promote their businesses, and connect directly with event guests. Each event will create an opportunity to give back while increasing visibility for the professionals and businesses participating.

Each therapist will be responsible for bringing their own massage chair or table, and any additional equipment or décor they would like to use for their setup. Therapists may also display business cards, signage, service information, and other promotional materials while connecting with event guests.

Jordyn’s Light will provide:

  • Disinfecting wipes

  • Disposable face cradle covers

  • Hand sanitizer

Each event will offer therapists the opportunity to give back, promote their services, and connect with the community while supporting the mission of Jordyn’s Light.

Join Our Volunteer Directory

We are creating a directory of licensed massage therapists and massage businesses interested in participating in future Massage for a Cause events.

Joining the directory does not commit you to every event. When an opportunity becomes available, registered therapists will receive the event details and may decide whether the date, location, and format work for them.

Our directory will help us build a reliable network of professionals who are willing to volunteer their time, support Jordyn’s Light, and connect with the communities they serve.

Thank you for your interest in joining the Massage for a Cause Volunteer Directory benefiting Jordyn’s Light.


We are building a directory of licensed massage therapists and massage businesses interested in volunteering at future Massage for a Cause events. Opportunities may include small pop-ups, larger community events, chair massage, and fully clothed table massage.


You do not have to be located in Buffalo, New York, to join. Our long-term vision is to host Massage for a Cause events in communities beyond Western New York. Building this directory will help us identify where there is enough volunteer interest to begin planning future events.

Most opportunities will require approximately three to four hours of participation. Massage proceeds collected during the event will be donated to Jordyn’s Light, while participating therapists may keep any gratuities they receive.


Joining the directory does not require you to participate in every event and does not guarantee placement. Event opportunities will be shared based on location, availability, event needs, and the number of participating therapists needed.
