The Leaning Branch
A space to feel, to release, and to be held.
Grief. Overwhelm. Postpartum shifts. Emotional exhaustion.
We carry so much — and often have nowhere to put it.
The Leaning Branch was created as a safe extension of Massage Is Life: Rooted in Healing — a space where you can lean into your emotions without needing to perform, explain, or apologize.
Why “The Leaning Branch”?
Imagine the strength of a tree — grounded, rooted, and still able to support a branch when it leans under pressure. That’s what this space offers.
It’s not about leaning on someone to “fix” you. It’s about having a safe, steady place to lean into what you're carrying — whether it’s named grief or unnamed sadness. Whether it’s physical tension or emotional weariness.
Here, you are allowed to feel. You are allowed to release. You are allowed to just be.
What Makes This Different?
Grief and emotional pain don’t always show up as words — they often live in the body:
Tight shoulders. Shallow breath. Restless sleep. Unexplainable fatigue.
That’s why this work goes deeper than relaxation.
The Leaning Branch sessions are intentionally created to:
-
Honor whatever you bring into the space — grief, trauma, postpartum transitions, anxiety, or simply “too much”
-
Support nervous system regulation through gentle, intentional touch
-
Create a grounded experience where you are seen, held, and never rushed
-
Allow space for tears, silence, stillness, or conversation — whatever arises
-
Welcome emotional release without judgment
Not Just Another Massage
The difference lies in the why — and in the preparation.
When you book a Leaning Branch session, I know you’re coming with something deeper. I prepare for that — energetically, emotionally, and professionally.
This isn’t a massage where you’re just another appointment. This is a session where the emotional weight you’re carrying is seen and honored.
You won’t be told to “just relax” if your grief feels raw. You won’t be hurried if emotions rise.
This is the place where you’re allowed to lean without breaking.
Who Is This For?
-
Individuals grieving a loss (recent or long ago)
-
Those navigating postpartum or fertility struggles
-
Anyone feeling emotionally numb or overwhelmed
-
People in high-stress caregiving roles

Clients who “don’t know what’s wrong,” but know they need something deeper
You don’t need the perfect words.
You don’t need to be “okay.”
You just need to show up — and I’ll hold space for the rest.
Ready to Lean In?
Booking a Leaning Branch session lets me know to meet you with deeper care, presence, and preparation. These sessions are not clinical therapy — but they are therapeutic in every sense of the word.
