Comfort Care Mobile Services
Palliative-Focused Therapeutic Support
Welcome
Comfort Care Mobile Services provides gentle, supportive therapeutic bodywork specifically for individuals receiving palliative or hospice-focused care.
This service is designed to support comfort, dignity, relaxation, and quality of life during serious or advanced illness. Sessions are adapted carefully to each individual’s physical condition, energy level, and overall comfort.
Services are non-medical and do not replace hospice, nursing, or physician-directed care.
Why This Service Exists
During serious illness or end-of-life care, leaving home for wellness services is often not practical or possible. Traditional spa or clinic environments may also feel overwhelming or inappropriate.
Comfort Care Mobile Services exists to bring calm, respectful, supportive therapeutic touch directly to the individual — prioritizing comfort, safety, and dignity above all else.

About Me
I’m a New York State Licensed Massage Therapist with a background in human services, trauma-informed care, and years of experience supporting individuals through complex life transitions, illness, and loss.
Comfort care work requires patience, adaptability, emotional awareness, and respect for each individual’s experience. My approach blends professional training with compassionate presence, always prioritizing comfort, dignity, and individualized care.
This work is also deeply personal to me. My own experiences with loss strengthened my commitment to providing calm, respectful spaces for individuals and families navigating difficult seasons of life.
Every session is provided within the scope of licensed massage therapy and remains non-medical in nature.
How the Process Works
Because every situation is unique, all clients begin with a required consultation.

Confirm that services are appropriate for the individual
Hands-on services are not provided during this appointment.

-
Session pacing remains gentle and flexible
-
Positioning and environment are prioritized for comfort

Step 3: Scheduling & Availability
Because I also operate an in-office massage practice:
-

-
Appointment access is provided after consultation
-
Services are scheduled first-come, first-served
Service Area & Travel
Comfort Care Mobile Services are available within the greater Buffalo area.
Appointments outside the primary service area may involve additional travel considerations discussed during consultation.
Client Policies & Expectations
To maintain safety and professionalism, the following policies apply to all mobile services.
Rescheduling Policy
Mobile appointments require reserved travel time and preparation.
-
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to reschedule an appointment.
-
All sessions are prepaid. Late reschedule requests (less than 24 hours) will result in the session being forfeited.
-
Rescheduled appointments must occur within 30 days of the original appointment date.
-
Rescheduling must be done by directly contacting me. Appointments cannot be rescheduled online.
No-Show Policy
If a client is unavailable, not present, or the service cannot proceed upon arrival, it will be considered a no-show and the prepaid session will be forfeited in full.
Client Late Arrival
Mobile appointments are scheduled within specific time blocks to allow for travel and preparation.
A 15-minute grace period is provided if a client is not immediately ready upon arrival. However, sessions will still end at the originally scheduled time to maintain scheduling consistency.
The full session fee applies regardless of start time.
Illness Policy
If the client or anyone in the household is experiencing a contagious illness (fever, flu, COVID, stomach virus, etc.), the appointment must be rescheduled.
Health and safety are prioritized for all clients and households served.
Environment & Winter Readiness Policy
For services to be provided safely, the environment must be prepared prior to arrival.
The following are required:
-
A clean, clutter-free space large enough for safe setup
-
A reasonably calm environment when possible
-
Pets secured away from the service area
-
Clear and safe access to the home
During winter months:
-
Walkways and driveways must be fully cleared of snow and ice
-
Pathways must be properly salted and safe for walking
If access to the home is unsafe upon arrival, the session may be canceled and subject to the forfeiture policy.
Comfort-Focused Positioning & Service Environment
Comfort Care Mobile Services are designed to meet individuals where they are physically and medically. A traditional massage table is not always appropriate — and often not necessary.
Services may be provided comfortably in:
-
Recliners or lift chairs
-
Medical or adjustable beds
-
Standard beds
-
Wheelchairs (when appropriate)
-
Supported seated positions
-
Other safe, comfortable resting positions
Positioning is always adapted based on comfort level, mobility, medical considerations, and overall well-being.
The goal is never to reposition someone unnecessarily, but to work within what is safest, most comfortable, and most supportive for the individual.
All positioning decisions are discussed during the consultation to ensure a safe and respectful experience.
