Speak at the Self-Care Expo

There will be no tables provided unless a speaker requires one for materials. Chairs will be arranged in rows to create an organized and engaging presentation setting. Please note that the room extends slightly farther back than shown in the photo, offering additional space beyond what is pictured.

Share Your Voice at The Self-Care Expo

Have something valuable to share with the community around wellness, self-care, healing, mental health?

We are inviting individuals who would like to voluntarily speak at The Self-Care Expo. This is not a paid speaking opportunity, but a chance to connect, educate, inspire, and be part of an event focused on community, wellness, and meaningful conversations.

We’ve had several individuals reach out expressing interest in speaking—thank you for your patience! We apologize for the delay in opening speaker applications. The original location planned for presentations was not ideal due to the placement of the bathrooms and entrance, so we had to shift a few things around to ensure a more comfortable and professional experience for both speakers and attendees as the field wouldn't be ideal either due to noise.

Speaker sessions will now take place in the Community Room during the event. Chairs will be set up in rows to accommodate approximately 30 attendees, creating an organized and engaging presentation environment. The space will also include two panel chairs, a speaker, and a microphone, with additional folding chairs available if needed for panel discussions.

Speaker Setup Includes

  • Seating for 30 attendees

  • 2 panel chairs available at the front of the room

  • Speaker and microphone available

  • Additional panel seating can be arranged with folding chairs if needed

This setup works well for:

  • Solo speakers

  • Q&A sessions

  • Small panels

  • Wellness talks

  • Educational discussions

  • Interactive conversations

Important to Know

  • This is a volunteer speaking opportunity only

  • Speaking slots are limited

  • Topics should align with the overall feel of the expo and provide value to attendees

  • Speakers must provide their own presentation materials if needed beyond the setup listed above

  • Final speaker selections, topics, and time slots will be approved based on fit, balance, and event flow

Suggested Topic Ideas

We are open to a variety of conversations that align with self-care, wellness, healing, and community. Examples may include:

  • Mental wellness

  • Stress management

  • Nervous system support

  • Holistic wellness

  • Women’s health

  • Grief and healing

Promotional Opportunities for Speakers

To support your session and maximize attendance, speakers are encouraged to create their own registration or sign-up link for their talk.

Why this is recommended:

  • You will have direct access to attendee contact information

  • You can build your email list and professional network

  • It allows you to promote future services, events, and offerings

  • You can share follow-up resources, materials, and exclusive opportunities with participants

We will also support your session by sharing your sign-up link through our marketing channels, including social media and event promotions.

Providing your own registration link ensures you can continue nurturing those connections beyond The Self-Care Expo.
